Learning to read, write and spell is not innate. 

Have you been told to “give it time” or “it’ll just click”, but you think there is more going on?  Go with your instinct.  Early support for struggling readers can make the difference in their learning by building the foundation they need to succeed.  Waiting only increases their difficulty at school and makes it harder to make up lost time.

Has your child been diagnosed with dyslexia, dysgraphia or a learning difference that affects their reading, writing or spelling? We specialize in these areas and provide individualized instruction to support each child.

Do you want to give you child an extra boost in school? These private session will support each student no matter where they are in their learning.

Our tutors use Structured Literacy approaches, such as Orton-Gillingham (OG), Wilson Reading System, Lively Letters, etc, that focus on the learning needs of the individual student. These approaches are excellent to use with all students, especially those who are struggling in reading and spelling. Our tutors teach phonics and decoding strategies to equip students in learning to read. We’re ready to help by providing students with instruction that is explicit, sequential, diagnostic, prescriptive and multisensory.

We currently tutor students in Kindergarten-6th grade.
