BOOST! Literacy Program

Our BOOST! Literacy Program is designed to build a strong foundation in reading through explicit phonics instruction. The program aims to meet a child where they are on their journey to reading proficiency.

BOOST! has a scope and sequence in teaching phonics skills that will support students in both reading (decoding) and spelling (encoding). Each session will use multisensory and explicit instruction to teach and practice skills.

Each student is given an intake assessment which is used to create a customized learning plan for each student. Strengths and struggles are identified and targeted in their reading and spelling skills. This foundational program can be used for readers in Kindergarten to 2nd or 3rd grade because it is customized in what lessons are taught to each student in the program.

This program will be offered throughout most of the calendar year so learning will continue all year long.
